We are pleased to announce that the West Hempstead Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League has recently received a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED).  The Nassau County Police Activity League has been working closely with John and Karen Acompora and their organization, the Louis J. Acompora Foundation to protect the lives of children involved in sports activities.  The Louis J. Acompora Foundation has generously donated AED devices to the Nassau County Police Activity League. Most of our Board members, Commissioners, and Coaches have received CPR/AED training.
